PURCHASING

The Purchasing function at GAMBEE is designed
as a highly integrated, process-driven system
ensuring a stable, traceable, and technologically advanced supply chain.
Purchasing plays a critical role in securing compliance,
repeatability and reliability across all phases of the product lifecycle.
All purchasing activities are governed by clearly defined procedures,
data-driven decision-making, and systematic control of quality, risk and cost.

Process and System Approach
Purchasing operates based on structured, documented and measurable processes that are tightly aligned with development, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
Key elements include:
  • Standardized purchasing processes – with clearly defined responsibilities.
  • Comprehensive material requirements planning (ERP/MRP).
  • Full traceability – of materials, batches, and documentation.
  • Active supply chain risk management.
  • Use of data analytics and performance indicators (KPIs).

Supplier Management and Approval Processes
Suppliers are selected, qualified, and monitored based on technical, quality, and process-related criteria. Supplier management is focused on process stability, consistent compliance with requirements, and measurable performance.
For applicable materials and components, PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) is applied to ensure:
  • Compliance with approved technical specifications.
  • Repeatability and stability of production processes.
  • Controlled implementation of changes.
  • Long-term quality of serial production.

Change Management
All changes within the supply chain are subject to a formal change management process. Any changes to materials, suppliers, manufacturing processes, production locations, or specifications require prior evaluation, approval and full documentation.
Change management ensures:
  • Controlled introduction of changes – into serial production.
  • Full traceability – of technical and process changes.
  • Minimized risk – to quality, delivery performance, and compliance.
  • Sustained stability – of manufacturing processes.

Supplier Manual
GAMBEE maintains a comprehensive Supplier Manual that defines mandatory requirements for all suppliers. The manual clearly specifies:
  • Technical and quality requirements.
  • Process and documentation obligations.
  • PPAP and change management requirements.
  • Logistics, traceability, and safety requirements.
  • Compliance and business conduct standards.
Full Supplier Manual

The Supplier Manual serves as a binding reference and ensures consistent, transparent and controlled execution across the entire supply chain.

Quality and Continuous Improvement
The Purchasing function actively supports GAMBEE’s objectives in quality, reliability and operational excellence. Through continuous process monitoring, data analysis and systematic management of deviations, long-term stability and a high level of compliance are ensured throughout the supply chain.
